Microsoft 365 pricing to increase on March 1st 2022 – but do you know how they’ll affect you?
At launch in June 2011, Office 365 simply included Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Lync, Exchange, Project, and InfoPath. Since then, Microsoft have continuously re-invested to meet the changing needs of their customers, expanding O365 to introduce new apps and capabilities such as Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Stream, Planner, Visio, OneDrive, Yammer, Whiteboard and much more.
Now, Microsoft are announcing changes to commercial pricing for Microsoft 365 – the first substantive pricing update since Office 365 was launched a decade ago. On March 1, 2022, Microsoft will update list pricing for the following commercial products: Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Office 365 E1, Office 365 E3, Office 365 E5, and Microsoft 365 E3. These increases will apply globally with local market adjustments for certain regions.
Our Microsoft team will be running 1-2-1 sessions leading up to the price increase in March 2022, to help review your organisation’s current Microsoft investments and see how we can best support you on your licensing ahead of the changes.
